My Story:

Hi there, I’m Beau! I might just be the most laid-back horse you’ll ever meet. I’m what you’d call the “turtle pace” champion — slow and steady is my style. That just means I’m perfect for riders of all ages, from kids to grandparents, because I’m always easygoing and never in a hurry.

I came to CJ’s Stable in 2020, and even though everyone thought I was a little younger ( DOB 2006) , I surprised them by being a wise old soul (DOB 1998). I’m a gorgeous grulla Quarter Horse gelding with a big, shaggy winter coat that makes me look like a fuzzy teddy bear when the snow falls.

I’m best buds with Buster and Storm — we’re kind of like the “old men’s club” of the stable, just taking life easy. Oh, and here’s a fun little fact — I actually carried CJ’s very first customer out on a trail ride! That’s something I’ll always be proud of.

I’ve got a bit of a reputation for loving snack breaks — I could have waited an grazed on grass while the others finished a trail ride. But don’t worry, I know have a anti-grazing muzzle on the trail rides and I’ll happily carry any rider and always keep things calm and steady.

I’m often at the back of the trail ride, setting a nice slow pace and making sure no one has to rush. Some folks even say I’m a little like Henry in personality — we’re both gentle souls who just take life as it comes.

I may not be the fastest horse, but I’m steady, loyal, and full of heart. If you ever need a relaxing ride or a calm friend to carry you through the trails, I’m your guy. 🐴💛
