Rides are by Reservation Only
Hi, I’m Dolly — a big, beautiful Clydesdale mare with a kind heart and an energetic spirit. I was full of life and loved to move with purpose, my feathered legs dancing through the snow or along the trails. I had a lot of energy, but I was always eager to please and easy to connect with.
Sometimes I could be a little nervous, especially in new situations, but if I trusted you, I would give you my whole heart. Once I felt safe, I would do anything that was asked of me — whether it was pulling a sleigh, carrying a rider through the woods, or simply standing quietly to be brushed.
I loved people and had a gentle, sweet soul. During my time at CJ’s Stable, I took many riders on their first trail ride and pulled countless sleighs filled with families laughing and making memories together. There was nothing quite like the sound of the bells jingling, the crisp air, and the joy of knowing I helped create a little magic for someone's day.
Even though my time here was shorter than anyone expected I was deeply loved my spirit and gentle heart left a lasting mark on everyone who met me
Though Dolly has crossed the rainbow bridge, her vibrant spirit and gentle heart will forever remain part of CJ’s Stable. She brought strength, beauty, and warmth to every ride she gave — from peaceful trail rides to magical winter sleigh rides that filled the air with jingling bells and laughter.
Dolly was a spirited yet sensitive soul who connected deeply with those around her. Her trust was something truly special, and once earned, she gave her whole heart. She will always be remembered for her big Clydesdale presence, her soft eyes, and the love she shared with everyone who had the joy of knowing her.
Dolly’s passing from a rare illness touched us deeply — a reminder of how precious each moment is with the horses we love. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew her. 💛
Dolly passed away from leukemia which our vet said was extremely rare and the first horse he had seen with this type of cancer.
