Rides are by Reservation Only
Hi, I’m Henry — the big, fluffy, gentle giant of CJ’s Stable. I came here from Starry Skies Rescue and quickly became part of the family. Most people remember me for my wavy blonde mane, my soft, shaggy coat, and my calm, steady spirit — though I admit, I had a little sass in me too.
My original pulling partner was Dancer, and together we were unstoppable. We loved working side by side — pulling sleighs through the snow, wagon rides in the summer, and just being together. When Dancer passed away, I missed him deeply, but I was lucky enough to team up with Johnny for a while. He and I made an amazing pair — patient, dependable, and perfectly in sync. We could be hooked and unhooked without anyone even needing to hold us — we just knew our jobs and trusted each other completely.
Later on, I pulled with Baby, and well… let’s just say that’s when my mischievous side came out. Every now and then, I’d reach over and give Baby a little nip — nothing mean, just my way of reminding everyone that even calm old Henry still had some spark left. Cassandra would laugh and say, ‘Henry, we don’t bite our friends!’ and I’d pretend to listen… until the next time.
I loved my work, from pulling wagons and sleighs to greeting visitors and standing proudly for photos. I was steady and gentle, but I also loved making people laugh — even if it meant getting caught being a little naughty now and then.
I may have crossed the rainbow bridge, but my spirit still lingers here - in every kind word every soft brushstroke in every bit of laughter shared around the barn I'll always be remembered as that big loving draft horse with a heart as big.
Though Henry has crossed the rainbow bridge, his steady spirit and gentle heart will forever remain part of CJ’s Stable. He was more than just a horse — he was a friend, a teacher, and a partner who brought comfort and laughter to everyone who knew him.
Henry will always be remembered for his calm strength, his playful spark, and the joy he brought to every sleigh ride, trail, and special event. His legacy lives on in every laugh that echoes through the barn and every peaceful moment shared with the horses he once called family. 🕊️ 💛
