My Story:

Shhhhhh… I have a secret to share. That’s actually how I got my name! I was a Secret — a tall, gentle giant standing around 18.3 hands, with a gorgeous silver coat and mane and tail that shimmer in the sunlight. In the winter, my coat deepens into a rich chocolate color, and everyone says I look like a completely different horse — but still just as handsome.

I came from Starry Skies Rescue and brought into Cassandra’s life, and from the moment I arrived, I made friends with everyone — horses big and small. I’m known for my playful spirit. You’d often find me picking up horse balls or leaning over to play with the miniature donkeys — I love making everyone smile.

I also led nearly every trail ride at CJ’s Stable, guiding beginners and experienced riders alike with a calm, steady hoof. If I wasn’t chosen for a ride, you’d see me waiting eagerly by the gate, ready to go.

In time, my family noticed there might be more going on than just my stringhalt. The vet suggested it was time for me to retire from trail riding to keep me comfortable. So Cassandra made the loving choice to send me back to Starry Skies Rescue, where I found a peaceful retirement home.

I may not be out on the trails anymore, but I’m still that same big sweetheart — calm, playful, and full of heart — carrying a bit of joy and kindness everywhere I go. 💛
