My Story:

Hi, I’m Tango — a Blue and Gold Macaw with a big heart, bright feathers, and an even brighter personality! I was born in June 2019, and I’ve been part of CJ’s family since I was just a baby. When I first came home, I was still being hand-fed, and that’s how my special bond with CJ began. Ever since then, I’ve been loved, spoiled, and surrounded by laughter.

I’m known for being a sweet, gentle macaw. Some people say parrots can be loud or moody, but not me — I’m more of a chatterbox and a people-watcher! I love seeing visitors and saying “hello,” “hi,” or even “thank you” whenever I get a treat (and yes, I know exactly what I’m saying). My favorite snacks are banana chips and fresh fruit — they always make me say “thank you” extra loud!

I love to dance, especially when music is playing or when the kids are laughing nearby. In the summer, I get to enjoy my big outdoor cage, where guests can stop by to say hello. I do get a little shy around new people though, so it’s best to look, wave, and talk to me — but please keep your fingers outside my cage.

I’m clever too — I’ve learned how to open my own cage door at home, just to stretch my wings and see what everyone’s up to. I love being part of the family, watching the horses, and joining in on all the fun at CJ’s Stable. Life’s never boring when I’m around! 💙💛
